Corkagh Park Report

The carp lake has been fishing extraordinarily well with a fantastic 12 pounder common carp caught tonight (Wednesday 18th) by Rodney Gaynor from Cherrywood in Clondalkin. Dean McDonald had an 11 lb 13oz carp. Barry Mellon had a 10lb Bream. Vincent Jackson had some nice carp to 10 lbs. Al Walshe had some great carp to 11 lb. Pat Bartley also had some nice carp. The fish that were coming out at 10 lbs last year, are coming out at 12 lbs this year.

The Trout lake is fishing steady with Joe Heffernan (local angler) having 14 trout on Saturday. Reggie Coates had 15 trout on Weds evening (18th). Well-known coarse angler Damien Maddocks had 7 nice trout tonight and his friend had 4. Dennis Goulding and his friend Darren had 27 trout.

Lakes are open from 10am until dusk, with Coffee Shop, Tackle Shop and toilets on site. All new-comers very welcome.
