Angling Report

Rainbow trout Fishing

Corkagh Park

On the trout lake has been restocked with a further 600 trout since Christmas. Rodney Gaynor (novice fly angler) caught and released 22 trout last week. Karl O'Toole (from Southside Angling) had 14 trout. Paddy McLoughlin (from Rorys tackle shop) had 18 trout. Gar Murphy also had 18 trout. So really the lake is fishing very very well.

Carp Fishing

Corkagh Park, Co. Dublin

On the carp lake - it is still producing a couple of carp. The best fish this week was 10.5 lbs by Keith, a local angler, just before dark. Al Walshe had 3 carp to 8 lbs and a few lads from Ballyfermot had 3 carp between them.
The carp lake is slowly beginning to still - the constant feeding through the Winter has kept the fish on the move.
