ASHTOWN, DUBLIN 15: This section has recently had 45 permanent pegs installed together with improved fish stocks. Good catches of roach, bream and some big perch have been caught by anglers using a small canal waggler (2BB) with either sweetcorn or maggots. Some nice carp up to 5lbs are also present in this popular stretch and the local club plans to run regular matches.

Locks 9 – 10, Ratoath Road, Scribblestown Road, Ashtown.
